Community Caroling

December 2022 was one of the coldest we've seen in a long time, but with the help of several community members and the staff at CES and WLRC, we were able to bring Christmas Carols to residents and clients of the two facilities.

We left with smiles on our faces and can't wait to share more of these interactive experiences with our friends and neighbors.

Eagle Spirit Dancers

The beauty of dance and music is that it reaches across cultures and generations. The Eagle Spirit Dancers brought this to the clients of CES, Northern, and WLRC in the fall of 2022 with a showcase held at the Inn at Lander.

The performance was beautiful and impactful to clients who respond positively to musical stimulus and interaction.

We are grateful to the Eagle Spirit Dancers for sharing their expertise!

The First Annual Lander Adult Prom, held in May of 2022, provided an opportunity for WLRC and CES residents to dress up for a night on the town!

This event is a fundraiser for arts in Lander, but offers free entry to WLRC, CES, and Northern clients in order to ensure they have equal access to these fun events.

May 6, 2023 will be the Second Annual Lander Adult Prom and folks are already excited about shopping for their outfits!

This inclusion opportunity provides ways for folks to reposition, change, and modify foods so they can enjoy the evening with as few restrictions as possible.

We hope to see the whole community there. Save a dance for us!

Pig Roast

The Pig Roast began in 2021 from a simple idea of bringing the community together and now, in 2023, we bring inclusion to the table.

The Lander Inclusion Movement has worked closely with the Pig Roast committee to ensure that our community members with different needs can access the meal, privacy, and enjoy the music in the park.

For the fourth iteration of this literary arts festival, the Lander Inclusion Movement is partnering with Bookmarked to provide shade, space, and opportunity for folks with disabilities to participate. On the afternoon of October 1, 2023, we will host "Stories on the Lawn," which will provide music and storytelling in a way that's accessible to all!
